Dylan Anderson, a 14-year-old from Duluth, used a 9-iron to ace No. 9N, a 113-yard, par three hole on Monday, Sept.3 at the Nemadji Golf Course.
Anderson was golfing with his brother, Jon Anderson.

Nemadji specials
The Nemadji Golf Course is offering free use of the Three Hole, Par 3 Course for the rest of the season along with free use of rental clubs and golf balls. The Par 3 course is open to adults and children.
NGC is also offering unlimited golf, with a cart after 6 p.m., for $10 per person from the forward gold tees or $15 per person from any tee.
Driving range tokens are also on special — buy three and get two free for the rest of the season. Golfers may also use the practice putting greens and chipping areas free of charge.
Golfer who purchase their 2013 season pass will also be able to golf for free for the remainder of the 2012 season.

Wednesday A.M. Ladies
The Wednesday A.M. Ladies league at the Norwood Golf Course held a nine-hole medal play event with four division winners crowned: A—Ann Heinen; B—Shirley Wilson; C—Phyllis Flaherty; and D—Kay McLish.
Heinen also had the low score for the week with a 39.
The Ladies will wrap up their season next week with a string tournament and banquet.
