Family medicine physician joins Essentia’s Superior Clinic
Dr. Theresa Weerts has joined the Family Medicine Department at Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Superior Clinic.

Weerts enjoys the variety of Family Medicine and caring for people of all ages.
“I like that there’s something new in every exam room,” she says. “I listen carefully and address all concerns during a visit.”
Dr. Weerts, who is board certified in family medicine, attended medical school at Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University in Maywood, Ill. She completed a family medicine residency at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Ill.
When she’s not working, Weerts enjoys golf, hiking, biking and sewing.
