LETTER: Love, kindness help in healing

To the Telegram:

We wish to say thank you to Dr. Kydee Sheetz, M.D., for her skills in repairing Jim’s hand after serious trauma from a table-saw accident.

Dr. Sheetz and all medical staff at St. Mary’s Hospital in Superior were swift yet calm in caring for Jim’s emergency.

A special thank you for our friend Greg Dalbec in transporting Jim to the hospital when time was of the essence and also returning to our home to clean up.

We also appreciate Joanie Peters help in cleaning up the mess so I would not return home and feel further shock from the sight of the accident.

Thank you to Ivan and Heather Reed who stayed with me during the 8-hour surgical procedure and our family and friends that called, sent encouraging texts and cards and who visited Jim while he was a patient at St. Mary’s Superior. Your love and kindness makes the healing process smoother.
