ANNIVERSARY: Gary and Sondra Jo Peterson

Gary and Sondra Jo Peterson of Brule are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in September. They were married on Sept. 15, 1962, at the Cloverland Covenant Church in Cloverland (Maple).

Their children are Kathleen (Kevin) Morgan of Cameron, Toni Peterson of Brule, Jason (Shannon) Peterson of Maple, and the late Michael Peterson. They have eight grandchildren: Lindsay, Chelsea, and Lucas Morgan, Sarah, Jacob, and David Rautio, and Ryan and Dylan Peterson.

Gary and Sondra invite friends and family to attend a reception in their honor at Northern Pines Golf Course, 69420 Airport Road in Iron River 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16.

The couple requests no gifts.
