With fall just around the corner, and the Farmers Markets going through the end of October, Senior Connections would like to invite you to some free sessions to learn “how to” use fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to use some of the great produce you can purchase from the local area Farmers Markets. Senior Connections will be holding sessions from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on three Wednesdays, Sept. 19, Sept. 26 and Oct. 3, at the Douglas County Superior Senior Center.

After the session, why not stay and give our meal a try at the Senior Connections congregate meal site at the Senior Center? You don’t need to sign up for the Season Eatings sessions, but you do need to make a reservation for lunch at least 24 hours in advance by calling 218-591-0001.
