Sticky situation on Fond du Lac highway

Highway crews are handling somewhat of a sticky situation in Fond du Lac.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) — Highway crews are handling somewhat of a sticky situation in Fond du Lac.

A bee farmer transporting a load of honey lost about 200 gallons while turning from eastbound Highway 23 to a Highway 41 onramp Friday morning.

Multiple agencies were called to handle the sweet mess, including the Fond du Lac Sheriff's Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

WISN-TV says firefighters hosed down the spill and dumped sand in the area.
