The Northland Foundation board of trustees is pleased to welcome two new members and announce the election of the 2012-13 officers.
Lisa Bodine is regional sales director for Involta, and is responsible for sales, marketing and governmental relations functions in the Twin Ports and Twin Cities areas. Prior to accepting a position with Involta, Bodine was manager of Health and Transportation Policy for the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and previously served as director of business development for the Area Partnership for Economic Expansion (APEX) in Duluth. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and is working toward an MBA at the Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Other board service experience includes a current term on the St. Luke’s Board of Directors, and Executive Committee service with the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce and Safe Haven Shelter for Battered Women.
Jason Hollinday has been director of planning for the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Planning Division, since 2006. He spent the previous 11 years as economic development planner with the Band. Among his current responsibilities are program management, grant writing, and project development including the USDA Rural Development BTOP and the Fond du Lac Broadband Project. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth in Geography and Urban and Regional Studies and a minor in History. He is chairman of the Fond du Lac Reservation Redevelopment Board and Fond du Lac Reservation representative with the Minnesota Department of Transportation — Area Transportation Partnership. Past board service includes the USDA Farm Service Agency Board, Carlton County Community-based Comprehensive Plan — Joint Powers Board, and the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission.
Officers for 2012-2013 include Chairman Dave Clusiau, co-owner, Hibbing Chrysler Center; Vice Chairman Jeff Corey, executive director, One Roof Community Housing; Secretary/Treasurer Diane Rauschenfels, coordinator for the Educational Administration Program, University of Minnesota Duluth.
