LETTER: Obama gaffes defy logic

To the Telegram: I’m curious. President Barack Obama is supposed to be a brilliant, eloquent, articulate, superb orator. So how is it that this superb orator says things like “the private sector is doing just fine” and “their way didn’t work, our way worked,” when clearly it’s not doing fine and the economy is not working.

I’m curious. President Barack Obama is supposed to be a brilliant, eloquent, articulate, superb orator. So how is it that this superb orator says things like “the private sector is doing just fine” and “their way didn’t work, our way worked,” when clearly it’s not doing fine and the economy is not working. And we can’t forget, “you didn’t build that,” no matter what context you apply.

Why do so many Americans still hold this president in such high regard when gaffes like this happen from President Brilliant, Eloquent, Articulate Obama when he goes off TOTUS — Teleprompter of the United States? I’m just curious.
