“Tailgate to Recovery” is a benefit fundraiser scheduled for Oct. 13, put on by the youth of the community with support from the city of Superior to help relieve damage caused by the flood on June 19-20.
As the title reflects, Ben Erickson, Brandon Gustafson and Peter Krause — for their Superior High School Senior Project — will have a “tailgate” starting at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Madison vs. Purdue football game at 11 a.m. on a big outdoor screen.
There will be games for kids, 50/50 drawings and other door prizes given out throughout the event.
Accompanying a wide variety of food and beverages there will be three fantastic local bands playing 2:30-8 p.m.
The community has suffered greatly with the flood so this is one way to give back. Your attendance will not only help make this a financial success but it’s also a way to bring the community together.
This will truly be a party for families to attend.
If you have any questions regarding this event contact Ben Erickson at benleelee@live.com, Brandon Gustafson at brandongustaf@yahoo.com or Peter Krause at pkpack15@gmail.com.
