Thursday Morning Ladies

This week the Thursday Morning Ladies League at the Nemadji Golf Course will play the North course. A draw for partners is at 8:15 a.m. with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will be most eights.

The winners of last week’s event of tee to green were Mary Meierotto and Ginger Smith with 27.

Highlights were Mary Meierotto chipping in on No. 8 and Carol Johnson birdied No. 6.

Low scores were Smith, 44; and Meierotto, 45.

Thursday Nite Ladies

The Nemadji Thursday Nite Ladies League at the Nemadji Golf Course will play the East course with counting putts being the weekly event. Golfers are to putt out. The two-putt rule will not be used.

Last week’s event winner with the low score on the even holes was Marie Swenson with an 18.

Golfers are still reminded to sign up and pay for the league banquet in the pro shop.

Championship

Steve Barschdorf finished first in the Men’s Club Championship at the Nemadji Golf Course by carding a 68 in the championship flight. Steve Stojevich and Pete Olbin tied for second with 72s.

The Friday Night Couples League at the Nemadji Golf Course held a 3-3-3 scramble on Sunday. Puttz and Snowbirds finished first with a 33, followed by Best for Last, M&M’s and Packers, 34s; Team Finley, 35; Got a Grip, Griswalds and Mulligans, 37s; and 3 Putters, 42.

The final day of play, Division I against Division II, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Places 1, 2 and 3 will play off on the East course and places 4, 5, 6 and 7 will play off on the North. Awards will follow in the clubhouse.
