Registration is available for the Grandma’s Minnesota Mile road race in downtown Duluth.
The one-mile event is Sept. 9 and open to runners of all skill levels.
The Minnesota Mile offers runners an opportunity to secure a spot in next year’s Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, as 250 finishers will be randomly selected to receive guaranteed entries into the 2013 half marathon.
Registration for all divisions is conducted exclusively online at www.GrandmasMarathon.com. The pre-registration entry fee is $20 and late registration (Sept. 8-9) is $25.
Those who register by Friday will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win two complimentary entries into the 2013 half marathon.
The race begins one block east of Fitger’s on Superior Street and finishes near the Holiday Center.
