LETTER: ‘Night Out’ midtown success
To the Telegram: National Night Out was successful in the midtown area last week. Nearly 100 people gathered to meet or reconnect with families in our neighborhood. Root beer floats, a kick-ball game until it was too dark to see, visits from local law enforcement, laughter and conversation made for an enjoyable evening for all.

National Night Out was successful in the midtown area last week.
Nearly 100 people gathered to meet or reconnect with families in our neighborhood. Root beer floats, a kick-ball game until it was too dark to see, visits from local law enforcement, laughter and conversation made for an enjoyable evening for all.
Special thanks to event organizers Jonathan and Michelle Asp, Jim and Sue Lundeen, Mike Coyle and Dave Jensen. Your time and coordination of the festivities is much appreciated.
In addition, we’d like to thank our sponsors and partners: Super One Foods, Target, Xerox Authorized Sales Agency, the city Parks and Recreation Department, and Councilor Warren Bender for supporting citywide efforts by submitting a National Night Out proclamation at the City Council meeting.
The smiles on everyone’s faces assured all that National Night Out is important to building relationships and putting unity in our community.
Lesa & Ray Radtke,
Superior
