Who should I vote for? Do you know that you even need to vote next Tuesday? Well you do. I can remember my father telling me that it is your obligation to vote and to never take it lightly. He would ask me if I did my research and did I know who I was voting for and why before I left for the polls.
Well next Tuesday I'll be voting for Gayle Wahner for Register of Deeds. Why, She has served as Register of Deeds for the past six years. Her education, continually looking for training opportunities and her 20 years of management experience. Her strong commitment to community service and her desire to provide quality public service is second to none. She is a strong and accomplished administrator with great organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills. She is also very committed to exceptional customer-focused, results oriented service to the citizens and businesses of Douglas County.
As a lifelong resident of Superior & Douglas County, Gayle is very committed to this community. Volunteering for everything from the Alumni Association at UWS and the UW-S Hockey games to being a Senior Project evaluator at Superior High School to Superior Days to serving on the boards at North Country Independent Living and Metro Credit Union to the Red Cross to … well the list goes on and on.
So why am I voting for Gayle Wahner for Register of Deeds? For me it is very simple, I believe, no I should say I know, she is the most qualified candidate for the job, no doubt. That is why I am asking you to vote for Gayle Wahner next Tuesday Aug. 14.
