LSC appoints Swenson dean of business, industry

Lake Superior College appointed Jenni Swenson to serve as Dean of Business and Industry.

Swenson holds an Master of Science in soil science, a Master of Arts in technical communication, and a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science each from the University of Minnesota.

Prior to her position at Lake Superior College, Swenson served as Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. She also served as Dean of Instruction at Ridgewater College in Hutchinson, Minn., and as an information technology professional at the University of Minnesota’s Twin Cities campus.

In her position, Swenson will work to build the college’s technical and business programs while also forming partnerships between the college and area businesses.
