Christian women look at the ‘lighthearted’

“Lighthearted” is the theme of this month’s Christian Women’s Gathering of Superior, an affiliate of Stonecroft Ministries.

Terri Wickett, director of life enrichment at the Lighthouse of Superior, a New Perspective Senior Living Community is the featured speaker. This facility provides assisted living, memory care, and short-term care.

The main speaker is Sandy Carlson, Williams Bay, Wis., and she presents “Home Is Where the Heart Is.” This woman-on-the-go shares with candor and enthusiasm her spiritual journey. Her dilemma came with each move to a new location and being asked “where are you from?”

The gathering runs 10-11:30 a.m. Aug. 29 at Barker’s Island Inn, Michigan/Ontario Room, 300 Marina Drive, Superior.
