LETTER: Kapalin works for working class

In the Register of Deeds race for the Douglas County Wisconsin Democratic Primary on Tuesday, Aug. 14, I’m recommending that your union readership support a union candidate, Mike Kapalin, Democrat.

Kapalin is employed at the University of Wisconsin Superior in the Facilities Management Department. He is a member of WSEU Council 24, Local 42.

I’ve known Kapalin on the job for several years as a person dedicated to improving the workplace, and have stood beside him at rallies in the Northland to demonstrate and fight for union rights. I urge voters in Douglas County to make the right choice, a pro union choice, by voting for Mike Kapalin for Douglas County Register of Deeds on Aug. 14.
