ENGAGEMENT: Tomczak-Evans

Renee Anne Tomczak of Superior and Arthur Henry Evans IV of Seneca Falls, N.Y. plan to marry Sept. 8, 2012, at Amnicon Falls State Park in Superior.

Her parents are Charles and Barbara Tomczak of Superior. His parents are Arthur Evans III of Waterloo, N.Y. and Rita Evans of Seneca Falls.

The bride-to-be is a 1996 graduate from Superior Senior High School. She graduated in 2000 from Quincy University in Quincy, Ill., with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. She also attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz., and will receive a Masters of Forestry. She is currently a State Park Ranger for North Carolina State Parks at Hammocks Beach State Park in Swansboro, N.C.

The groom-to-be is a 1993 graduate from Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls. After several years of law enforcement experience for the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department in New York, as well as for the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office in Arizona; he is now pursuing a new career as a bail bondsman in North Carolina.
