To the Telegram:
To drivers everywhere: Just because it is summer, it doesn’t mean you have to speed up or pass on curves. I don’t know if it is something in the sun’s rays or temperature, but they are a lot faster in summer time.
And please stop talking and texting on your cell phone. Put your makeup on or shave your beard before you leave the house.
Don’t do it while driving.
Natural causes and disease take enough lives. Don’t let driving distracted be the way you die, or God forbid, some innocent driver or pedestrian due to stupidity. The innocent could even be little kids that you kill or injure.
I know you don’t want to shorten the life of a child who hasn’t even had a chance to live.
You may not care about your life, but your family does. Plus God did not put you on this earth to act with no care in the world about your life or anyone around you. The world is a beautiful place. We may have a few problems that come your way, but we can handle it. If you have a problem, talk to your parents or someone you would trust. No one wants you dead, not even me.
So please think before you get behind the wheel. We care about you even if you don’t. Slow down and you will get to your destination in one piece.
A driver’s license is an privilege. Don’t abuse it or you might be a statistic someday.
Life is precious. Enjoy every minute of it.
