Ledin manages Senior Connections meal programs

Senior Connections welcomes a new senior nutrition program coordinator.

Janet Ledin joined the team at Senior Connections on July 9. She will be managing the Senior Nutrition Program, which includes Meals on Wheels and congregate dining sites.

The nutrition program provides nutritionally balanced meals and a place to gather at nine different sites throughout Douglas County. In addition, Meals on Wheels provides meals for homebound individuals.

The program is open to individuals 60 and older and their spouses regardless of age.

There is a requested donation of $3.50 per meal. Call Ledin at (715) 394-3611 for information about the program.
