Enchanted dolls come to the Northwoods

The Enchanted Doll Club of the Northwoods presents the 34th annual Doll Show and Sale 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Kalmar Community Center on Highway 45, north in Eagle River, Wis.

Proceeds from the show are used for donations to the Olson Memorial Library and local food pantries.

Dealers from Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan will have a wide variety of antique, vintage and modern dolls and doll accessories for sale.

One dealer will be selling antique buggies and several dealers will be selling doll clothes.

A representative from Oldenburg & Co. LLC will be selling at the show. Maryanne Oldenburg is from Winneconne, Wis. Her line of doll called Playmates from Willow’s Way will be on sale as well as patterns and accessories for her dolls.

A doll appraiser will be available with a paid admission ticket. Dolls will be appraised for $2 per item. Yvonne and Jerome Clevette, doll doctors from Ashland, will be available for consultations.

The new American Girl doll Marie-Grace, an 8” Madame Alexander doll and a three faced doll created by Cynthia Thomas of Eagle River will all be given away at the end of the show. Hourly door prizes will be awarded.

Admission to the show is $4 for adults. Children under 12 admitted free. Refreshments are available for purchase.
