The role is for a Native American male between ages 20-40 who plays an excitable tribe elder who gets insulted by the president of the United States and arrives at the Oval Office to express that displeasure in a very loud, boisterous and hilarious manner. Previous acting experience is helpful but not necessary.
There will be cold readings from the script. The script contains adult language and situations and uses broad comic strokes to make pointed commentary on issues facing our country.
The show is directed by Minden Hultstrom and stars Chris Nollet, Brian Matuszak, John Schmidt and Cheryl Skafte. It runs Oct. 4-6 and Oct. 11-13 at the Play Ground Theater in downtown Duluth.
