The older victim, who as 16 at the time of Flaig’s arrest, said the abuse began when she was 12. The younger victim, then 14, told police she was 6 when the molestation started and 9 the first time Flaig had intercourse with her.

Flaig, who is described as 6-foot-2, weighing about 240 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, claimed he was a victim of sexual assault as a child, and admitted to police that he had “fondled” the girls but denied having intercourse with either of them.
