Blues host 17U regional; action begins on Thursday
Action gets underway at 12:30 p.m. Thursday with Chippewa Falls playing Eau Claire. The Blues will play the winner of that game at 6 p.m.
The Superior Blues VFW baseball team will host the 17U Regional Baseball Tournament this week at Morrie Arnovich Field.
Action gets underway at 12:30 p.m. Thursday with Chippewa Falls playing Eau Claire. The Blues will play the winner of that game at 6 p.m.
The other opening-round game is River Falls vs. Hudson at 3:30 p.m.
Members of the Blues are Peyton Flanders, Tyler Eisenhower, Taavi Mattson, Will Mullens, Logan Griffith, Sean O’Neill, Andy Glonek, Emerson Moder, Dane Sislo, Joe Schimenek, Erik Anderson and Bo Higgins.
Superior is coached by Jamie Ross.
Action runs through Saturday’s championship game at 4 p.m. A second title game, if needed, is scheduled for noon on Sunday.
