Mini track meets to begin on Tuesday

The Superior Mini-Track and Cross Country series kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the University of Wisconsin-Superior outdoor track behind Wessman Arena.

The series will run three more weeks after Tuesday, with meets planned for July 24 and 31 and Aug. 7. The starting time for all meets is 6:30 p.m.

Race distances include: 100 meters, predicted mile, open mile, 800 meters and 2-mile cross-country run.

The entry fee is 50 cents per night and there is no pre-registration.
