Tickets available for senior picnic in Superior

Join Senior Connection on Aug. 1 at the Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds for the annual Superior/Douglas County Senior Picnic. The picnic will be held rain or shine in the multipurpose building at the fairgrounds in Superior.

Tickets go on sale for this event is week and are $7 each. They are available to those ages 60 and older.

Tickets must be purchased in advance in order to attend the event and can be picked up at Senior Connections, 1805 N. 16th St., or at one of the organization’s congregate meal sites.

Enjoy food and fellowship, and music provided by Lorren Lindevig prior to the meal. There will also be drawings for prizes.

Doors open at 11 a.m.
