ENGAGEMENT: Godfrey-Walters

Kristen Godfrey of Minneapolis, daughter of Marie Godfrey and the late Dennis Godfrey of Superior, will exchange vows with Ben Walters of Minneapolis on July 21 at Bigelow Chapel, New Brighton, Minn. He is the son of James and Mary Walters of Hermantown.

The maid of honor is Alison Godfrey, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids are Anne Walters, sister of the groom, Lauren Adsem, Tara Kleinknight, Danielle Charles, friends of the bride, and Christy Davis, friend of the bride and groom.

The best men will be Sam Walters, brother of the groom, Kevin Dahl and Bob Vralsted, friends of the groom. The groomsmen will be Gary Helleson, Brock Davis, Adam Roseberg, friends of the groom. The flower girl will be Summer Davis and the ringbearer will be Beckam Lull.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Superior High School and graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in business, public health and life sciences and in 2009 with a master degree in of public health, policy and administration. She is employed as community care coordination supervisor for Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.

The groom-to-be graduated from Hermantown High School in 2000. He graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He is employed as project architect with HGA Architects and Engineers, Minneapolis.
