Nemadji
Hole-in-one
Ellen Rivord, of Menasha, Wis., celebrated the Fourth of July holiday on Wednesday by acing No. 10S at the Nemadji Golf Course.
Witnessing the shot with a 5-wood on the 123-yard hole were Bob Rivord of Mensaha, and John and Marsha Wick of Superior.
UWS outing
The University of Wisconsin-Superior Alumni Golf Outing, sponsored by UWS athletics, is July 27 at the Nemadji Golf Course.
The event scramble format for five-person teams begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The tournament is limited to 36 teams.
The entry fee of $75 per person ($50 per person with a current Nemadji season pass) includes green fees, two carts per team, team awards, proximity prizes, gift and dinner.
