The Thursday Morning Ladies at the Nemadji Golf Course will play the North course this week.
Drawing for partners is at 8:15 a.m. and new tee times are 8:30 a.m.
This week’s event will be most drives in fairway.
The winner of last week’s event of most bogeys was Beth Olson with five.
Highlight of the week was Jean Sellers’ chip-in on No. 1E.

Thursday Nite Ladies
The Thursday Nite Ladies League will play the North course this week with the weekly event most pars.
Play last week was on the West course with the event least putts. There was a tie with Marie Swenson and Kathy Krause each with 16 putts.
Golfers are reminded to sign up for the scramble to be held on July 19.

Green Dreamers
The Green Dreamers Ladies League at the Northern Pines Golf Course in Iron River will hold a guest day at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10 with a patriotic theme.
Next week’s events will be closest second shot on No. 4 for flights 1 and 2, and on No. 5 for flights 3 and 4.
Events for the day last week were low putts and long putt on No. 2. Judy Larsen had the long putt and flight winners for low putts were: Flight 1 — Bev Lindsey, 14; Flight 2 — Eleanor Munson and Myrna Kangas,15; Flight 3 — Roberta Ruef, 13; Flight 4 — Debbie Landgreen, 16.

Golf Against Cancer
On June 16 the Green Dreamers Ladies League sponsored a Golf Against Cancer Tournament at Northern Pines Golf Course with 49 golfers participating. More than $2,500 was raised to be used to assist cancer victims in our surrounding communities.
First place was won by Danielle Raunio, Andy Raunio, Bob Fick and Al Reedy who scored a 32. Second place went to Deb Tischler, Mac Santikko, Chris Mehtala and Alex Paravente, who also scored 32. A putt-off determined the winner.
Third place was won by Barb Brooks, Dee Ginthner, Betsy Larey and Art Ripkin.
