The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore’s Mainland trail, from Meyers Beach, past the sea caves, to the mainland campsite, was temporarily closed due to storm damage and wet conditions. The trail has been reopened, however, it is still muddy, so please use caution. Also, stay on the main trail and away from cliff edges. Wet conditions have made the soil slippery and cliff edges are frequently undercut.
