On June 16 at about 1 a.m., police responded to a parking lot in the 500 block of Tower Avenue, according to a department release on Facebook. An adult female had been severely beaten and was bleeding from large cuts to her head. Information was given to police that the victim’s jaw was also broken during the attack.
An arrest warrant has been filed for Erik Demetrius White, 25, for felony counts of domestic abuse/substantial battery and bail jumping, according to online court records. The bail jumping charge stems from the fact that White was previously ordered by the court to have no contact with the victim. Anyone with information on his location or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Superior Police Department by calling 911. The department also has an anonymous voice message tip line at (715) 395-7468.
