LETTER: Time has come to return to civility
To The Telegram: I would like to respond to the letter that appeared in the Telegram on June 27, “Time to grow up, get back to work.”
To The Telegram:
I would like to respond to the letter that appeared in the Telegram on June 27, “Time to grow up, get back to work.”
Would the writer please stop and listen to himself. After calling Democrats, liberals, and unions “spoiled, misbehaving children,” he then expected these groups to work with the governor. Nobody likes to be put down, and we all have our dignity.
That is the big problem today. Both political parties throw out insults and then expect cooperation.
Maybe it is time for all of us to grow up.
