The Twin Ports’ only environmentally-themed Rotary club announced three new members have recently joined its ranks.
Laura Zahn, Phil Sollom and Stacy Oltmanns have joined the Duluth Superior Eco Rotary Club, which has about 50 members.
Zahn, of Zahn Investment Group, has been a financial adviser in the Duluth area for 10 years, and her office is on Woodland Avenue. Most of her work is in the area of retirement — planning, IRAs, rollovers, and increasing income in it. She especially enjoys the education aspect of her job.
Rotary allows her to be an active community volunteer and she also serves on the board of directors for First Witness and is an active LifeHouse volunteer.
Sollom, of Wherley Moving Systems, has been with the company for the past seven years. He mostly works in the Duluth area moving household goods, but occasionally drives throughout the Midwest. What he likes most about his job is meeting new people every day and seeing many exciting places.
Oltmanns works as an account manager at Raven & Associates Inc., a promotional products company in Duluth. She previously worked at St. Luke’s as a physician recruiter and before that was the marketing director at Pines III Assisted Living in the Mount Royal area. Oltmanns has lived in Duluth for the past 8 years with her husband and two children.
The Duluth Superior Eco Rotary Club places an emphasis on service projects that help the environment and preserve the natural resources of our region. The club typically meets at 4:45 each Tuesday at Blackwoods on London Road. Visit www.duluthsuperiorecorotary.org for more information.
