LETTER: Walker’s visit shows priorities

To the Telegram:

We here in the southern part of the state are thinking about you after the severe flooding in your area. We’re happy there was no loss of life and hope your homes and roads are soon restored.

I just heard that Gov. Scott Walker would be up there for a tour on Tuesday.

I kind of wonder where he’s been since June 20 and wonder why he didn’t make it a priority to witness the damage while there was still water present.

I suppose he has some fundraiser to attend. After all, there’s that bill for his criminal defense attorneys that needs to be paid.

Some things are just more important than others, I guess.
