Seventeen-year-old Richard Erron Larsen of Superior has been charged with felony counts of attempt armed robbery with use of force and aggravated battery in Douglas County Circuit Court.

Larsen had an altercation with his cousin, Joseph Bennett, while driving on Tower Avenue, according to a news release issued by Superior Police Capt. Nick Alexander.

Bennett, a Duluth resident, was a passenger in the vehicle. He claims Larsen demanded all his money. When Bennett refused, Larsen reportedly stabbed him multiple times with a small knife.
