Jacquelyn "Jackie" O. Andren

Jacquelyn O. Andren, 79, of Solon Springs, Wis. passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Essentia Health St. Marys Medical Center, Duluth, Minn.

Jacquelyn was born Sept.12, 1932, in Ashland, Wis. to the late Ole and Vivian (Johnson) Jorgenson.

Jacquelyn married Norman Andren Dec. 23, 1950, they celebrated 41 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1992.

Jackie loved to be with her family, sharing wild berries that she picked with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the Steelers, wrestling, and going fishing. Jacquelyn was so very proud of her grandchildren.

Among those who survive and gratefully shared her life are her six children: Steven of Solon Springs, Wis., Roger of Mellen, Wis., Cheryl (John) Meller of Bennett, Wis., Tracy (Rick) Salveson of Solon Springs, Wis., Scott (Robynn) of Bennett, Wis. and Troy (Jolene) of Superior; 16 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother; Rendy (Joanne) Jorgenson of Fittsburg, Mass.; two sisters; Janice Featherly of Minong, Wis. and Kathryn Fredricks of Drummond, Wis.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Brown Funeral Home in Solon Springs. Rev. Nathan Winterhof will officiate.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery of Solon Springs.
