Alert: Man passing bad checks at Superior businesses

A white male has been writing checks on a closed account at area businesses, according to an alert sent out Thursday morning by Community Policing Officer Bonnie Beste with the Superior Police Department.

A white male has been writing checks on a closed account at area businesses, according to an alert sent out Thursday morning by Community Policing Officer Bonnie Beste with the Superior Police Department. It appears he is trying to hit as many businesses as he can in a very short amount of time, she said. Information is that he is also buying gift cards with the bad checks. No more information was released on the suspect.
