There are only 23 days left until the Relay for Life begins, and the committee planning the annual event to raise money in the fight against cancer is finalizing plans for the July 13-14 event.
The committee meets at 6 p.m. Thursday to hand out posters and bucket raffle tickets, and discuss information regarding bank night and the survivor dinner, and work on the program.
The meeting takes place at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Hospital, Superior.
A Relay for Life Homemade Ice Cream social is also being held at 6:30 p.m. today at Bethel Lutheran Church in South Superior. The church is handicap accessible, and a freewill offering for the Relay for Life is being accepted.
