Swanson-Nelson

Dana Swanson of Bloomington, Minn., and Ryan Nelson of Apple Valley plan to marry Aug. 25 at St. Edwards Church in Bloomington.

Her parents are Chuck and Barb Swanson of Superior. His parents are Larry and Fawn Nelson of Duluth.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Superior High School and graduated from Florida Institute of Technology in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in aviation management. She is a noise and operations analysis coordinator at the Metropolitan Airports Commission in Bloomington.

The groom-to-be is a 1991 graduate of Duluth East High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance. He is an assistant vice president/risk manager for consumer banking at US Bank in Minneapolis.
