Rita and John Wallin celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

John and the former Rita Karling were married June 24, 1972, at Holy Assumption Catholic Church.

Their children are Scott and Heather Wallin, and Brian and Carrie Wallin. They have two grandchildren, Alek and Stephanie Wallin.

John is retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad. Rita is retired from the School District of Superior.
