Join St. Anthony in Lake Nebagamon for ‘Giggles’

Giggles are coming to Lake Nebagamon on June 22 — an evening of food, entertainment and style sponsored by St. Anthony of Lake Nebagamon.

There will be a live comedy act from the Twin Cities spotlighting Shannon Paul along with auctions — silent, live and mystery. There will be exhibits, displays and sales for women.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the new air-conditioned St. Anthony center on County Highway B in downtown Lake Nebagamon with pedestal modeling, a chocolate bar and wine and tini drink samplings among other delectable surprises. The event also features the debut of a mashtini bar, which offers creamed Yukon gold potatoes with an assortment of toppings.

Tickets are $20 per person and if you bring a friend, there is a discounted ticket for $30 for two. Every ticket sold includes two admission tickets for the Dubh Lin Comedy Night in downtown Duluth, a $24 value. Proceeds benefit area youth programs and education.

Giggles are geared for women ages 21 and older according to chairwoman Angela Hanson. For reservations, call (715) 374-3570. Tickets are limited to the first 200.
