Martha M. (Bannick) Libby

Martha M. (Bannick) Libby, 91, of Bloomington, Minn, formerly of Superior, was born August 23, 1920, and passed to eternal life with the Lord peacefully June 12, 2012, at her son's home in Bloomington.

Martha M. (Bannick) Libby, 91, of Bloomington, Minn, formerly of Superior, was born August 23, 1920, and passed to eternal life with the Lord peacefully June 12, 2012, at her son's home in Bloomington.

Her life and greatest joy was her family. Prior to retirement, she was employed at Murphy Oil in Superior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur, son Raymond, six brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by sons Arthur (Patty) Libby, Bloomington, Minn., Donald (Kathi) Libby, Milton, Ga., Thomas (Beverly) Libby, Shakopee, Minn.; five grandchildren, McKenzie (Brian) Weaver, Memphis, Tenn., Randi (David) Burnap, Stacy Libby, Arthur (AJ) Libby, all of Superior, Ellis Libby, Bloomington, Minn.; and a great-granddaughter Emma Weaver, Memphis, Tenn.

A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 15 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Bloomington, Minn. with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth.
