Only three games were played this week in the Cal Ripken Baseball League as rain forced the postponement of all games on May 29.

Mariners 12, Red Sox 3

Gunner Johnson was the winning pitcher and went 3-for-3 with a home run, double and two RBIs for the Mariners, who improve to 3-0-1 on the season.

Johnson finished with three strikeouts before giving way to Brandon Wing, who struck out five over the final two innings.

The Mariners also got two singles and two RBIs from Eddy O’Brien and a single and three runs scored from Elijah Owens.

For the Red Sox (0-3-1), Hunter Paine tripled in a run, Jaiden Finckler and Theron Dalbec each singled in a run and Austin Willoughby singled.

Brewers 19, Cardinals 5

The Brewers improved to 3-1 with the win over the Cardinals.

Ryan Hughes was the winning pitcher and singled for the winners.

Also for the Brewers, Dominic D’Auria doubled twice; Drew DeBruyne and Dakota Buchanen singled twice; Austin McClure tripled; Justin Earnst, Isaac Rios, Erick Elonen and Dayton Podvin singled; Brandon McClure walked twice and Kyle Nickila walked once.

Sam Hoskins was the player of the game on defense for the Brewers.

For the Cardinals (0-4), Reed Rehnstrand doubled; Mason Moen, Derek Fender and David Fender singled; Steven Nett was hit by a pitch twice; and Caelin Wick walked.

Blue Jays 4, Cubs 0

The Blue Jays improved to 4-0 with the victory, while the Cubs fell to 1-3.
