Walk supports scleroderma sufferers

The Duluth Scleroderma Support Group of the Scleroderma Foundation holds its 10th annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk on June 2 at Bayfront Park.

The Duluth Scleroderma Support Group of the Scleroderma Foundation holds its 10th annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk on June 2 at Bayfront Park. Registration is at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. Registration fee is $15. The event takes place rain or shine.

This is a family event, and features a ½-mile walk. Food and refreshments are available. Entertainment is provided by the Lake Superior Clowns. Walkers are eligible for door prizes donated by local merchants.

Money raised from this event will help us serve patients and work to raise local awareness of this cruel, but little known disease.
