LETTER: What do crazy dreams mean?

I have this reoccurring dream and was instructed to send it to your newspaper, with the hopes you will share it with many.

I am one of thousands of hostages held on this rusty old monster ship. The rust from spiritual cover-ups has consumed its navigational abilities. It has much gold on board which the Redcoats hide behind the vegetables, hoping no one will see it. Refusing to sell their gold, they are forbidden docking space at any port. The skipper is in a corner and appears to be picking on some nuns, hoping they will jump ship. If they do, he can sell their cabins and sparse possessions to pay for ship repairs.

This dream is so nuts. It makes no sense. The man who painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. What’s his name? Yah, Michelangelo! He is now being set adrift with a huge bunch of his friends. What can we do? Where can we go? This rusty old tub is so old it has no life jackets or life boats.

P.S. God has a marvelous sense of humor.
