SHS baseball and soccer games rained out
Northwestern softball game moved to Friday; sectional track meets for both schools still on for today
Today’s Superior High School baseball game with Duluth East and girls soccer game with Osceola have been canceled because of rain.
Both games will not be made up.
The WIAA sectional track meet today in Rice Lake is on as scheduled. Field events start at 4 p.m. and running events start at 4:45 p.m.
Varsity members of the SHS baseball team will practice after school. The JV team will have a short meeting after school in the varsity locker room.
The baseball team opens WIAA tournament play at 5 p.m. Tuesday at River Falls.
The girls soccer team will not practice today then play at Ashland on Friday and Hayward on Tuesday. Both games begin at 4:30 p.m.
The seeding meeting for girls soccer will be held Friday.
Tigers update
Today’s WIAA regional softball game between the Northwestern Tigers and Unity has also been rained out and will now be played at noon Friday in Brule.
Because of graduation Friday night at Northwestern, the Tigers’ regional baseball game at Rice Lake on Friday begins at 1:45 p.m.
