WINONA, Minn. (AP) — Crews are still looking for a Winona man who went missing after he fell off a boat into the Mississippi River.
Winona County Sheriff Dave Brand has said two men were boating about 4 p.m. Thursday when Ralph Andring fell into the river. The 57-year-old was not wearing a life vest. The other man threw one to him but he couldn't reach it.
Crews looked for him Thursday night, Friday and again on Saturday.
The Winona Daily News reports Ralph Andring has owned his own business, Ralph's Heating and Air Conditioning for 20 years.
His close friend, Terry Thrune, says he loved to cook, hunt and fish, ride Harley- Davidson motorcycles and the Minnesota Twins. He said he had a "heart of gold."
