Rummage sales
Faith Lutheran Church of Maple holds its annual rummage, bake and plant 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Maple Community Center on Highway 2. The Youth Group sells lunch and refreshments.
Country Peace Presbyterian Church, 4694 S. County Road A, town of Superior, will be having its Annual Rummage and Bake Sale 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Bakery items along with coffee and pop will be for sale while you shop. This year, we sell adult clothing.
Let’s rock
Dance to rock and roll music from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, taste some desserts and look through a host of raffle prizes during the Let’s Rock fundraising dance from 7-11 p.m. Saturday at Temple Israel/Jewish Center, 1602 E. Second St., Duluth. Boydz Revival provides the music. A $20 donation covers dancing, desserts, raffle prizes and fun. Tickets are available at the door.
Salad luncheon
Holy Assumption Catholic Church, North 56th Street and Tower Avenue hold its annual Salad Bar Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and younger; and pre-schoolers are free.
