Nemadji
Thursday Morning Ladies
The Thursday Morning Ladies League will start play on May 17 on the North course with a throw-out-two-holes event. Tee times start at 9:30 a.m. with a draw for partners at 9:15 a.m.
The league is open to all Nemadji Women’s Club members. The league plays nine holes with an event every week. This is a very informal league open to any level of play. Golfers may join any time during the year.

Friday Couples
There will be an informational meeting for the Nemadji Friday Night Couples League in the Nemadji clubhouse at 6 p.m. on May 18. Any couples interested in golfing on Friday night, with a best-ball format, are encouraged to attend the meeting.
Dues are $20 and play begins June 1. Tee times begin at 5 p.m.

All members are asked to attend or make sure a team representative is present. Any other women interested in joining the league are invited along with any women interested in being a substitute.
The league begins May 29 with a meeting of all team members at 8 a.m.

Green Dreamers
Twenty-one golfers braved the weather for the opening day of the Green Dreamers Ladies League at Northern Pines Golf Course in Iron River.
Events for the day were closest to the pin on No. 1 for Flights 1 and 2 and closest to the pin on No. 3 for Flights 3 and 4. Winners were Karen Helenius and Linda Michiels. Dee Ginthner chipped in on No. 1 for a birdie and Maggie Bare had a chip-in on No. 7.
Next week’s event will be low net and throw out a hole. Golf begins at 10 a.m. during the month of May. Golfers are requested to be at the clubhouse no later than 9:45 a.m. New members are welcome.
