Rummage, bake sale
Brule Presbyterian Church hosts a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Brule Town Hall. Light lunch available.

Peace Lutheran Church on U.S. Highway 2 in Poplar hosts a next-to-new sale 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Items included are metal folding chairs, household items, large assortment of clothing from toddlers to men’s larger sizes. Lunch available.
Salad luncheons
Pilgrim Lutheran Church hosts its annual Spring Salad Bar Luncheon at noon Wednesday at 820 Belknap St. Cost is $6 with take-outs available. Proceeds support various charities.
Zion Lutheran Church, 2022 E. Second St., hosts a salad bar luncheon 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday featuring salads, hot dish, dessert and beverage. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children.
Lasagna dinner
A lasagna dinner, including vegetarian, is served 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Faith United Methodist Church. This fundraiser benefits the Meals Outreach Ministry (community dinners) and the food pantry, two programs sponsored by the health and welfare committee of the church. Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and younger. These programs are open to all residents of Douglas County. For more information, call (715) 394-9608.
