LETTER: Governor Walker deserves thanks
To the Telegram: It would seem that the Board of Education for the Superior school district owes Gov. Scott Walker a debt of gratitude.

It would seem that the Board of Education for the Superior school district owes Gov. Scott Walker a debt of gratitude.
The board had proposed as part of balancing next year’s budget by lengthening the school day allowing it to cut back on school bus routes.
In the end, the Superior school district was able to make up for its budget shortfall through competitive bidding on employees health insurance as provided in Wisconsin’s Act 10, Walker’s Budget Repair Law. As you probably won’t hear from the members of the Superior School Board; I’ll say it: Thank you Gov. Walker.
